WTC 7 is laughable. "Top-down collapse from a plane strike in under 2 hours" MY ASS!

Where was /hr/ when this happened?
Scan from film original from 1996
Good times.
Why did they build them so close to each other in the first place? So one guy in one tower could wave to his buddy in tower two?

I think because it looked cool... and it hadn't really been done like that before.
>>2580992
Well duh. I want to know if any of the shitters has windows facing each other

>a kiddy pools worth of of jet fuel can disappear steel cores and "bend" steel into a molten state and remain on fire for months without oxygen
>the elevators that just so happened to be out of working order mins before first impact is never mentioned or debated
>man who predicts invasion of middle east months before happening shot and killed by non-uniformed officers on his property
>when a plane crashes into conveniently open field, it leaves literal silhouette of plane in ground with no evidence of human bodies, luggage, sufficient debris
>"plane" that would have had to flown through objects to hit Pentagon hit no objects and does damage from the opposite direction of impact first
>planes that physically cant maneuver as needed to preform acts depicted, did so, TWICE
>by some form of Illuminati magic very important pieces of paper ID survived what tons of steel and concrete didnt
sure :3
I'll go back to sleep now.
Here's an old pic from the top.

Many reasons. More windows (and thus high-rent office space) than one 'fat' building (and these were pretty big anyway). Economies: building two of each element is much less than 2x the cost of one. Roughly half the engineering and architecture cost. Fairly unique at the time.

Another version of it.

>Where was /hr/ when this happened?
I was in my senior year of HS. That day at school, I actually thought it was a prank at first because there was no official announcement and everybody was giving different stories about what was going on.
I've been to the top of the original WTC towers three times total, I think. What I remember most was actually the elevators. It was the first time I'd ever been in elevators that went so high so fast that my ears popped a couple of times during the ascent. Last time I went up was probably 1996 or 1997. Lots more room than the observation areas of the Empire State Building.
Sorry, no pics to share.
has anyone watched The Walk (2015) ?

I would like to hope not lmao

It's pretty amazing that you've actually been it it. An experience that no one else will ever repeat.
I was about twelve years old, living Turkey with my family. My parents were out for a a walk and some upset looking shopkeepers called them into the store and showed them what was on the tv. There were a lot of American sailors in town on shore leave, I can't remember how they reacted. We decided to move back to Canada a bit earlier than we had planned. I think I still did my school that day because of the time difference.
