Paolo Soleri was an architect and a dreamer.
He was Italian, but he spent most of his life in Arizona, building the experimental city of Arcosanti (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arcosanti).
I would like this thread to be focused mainly on his drawings, which are aesthetically amazing.
I don't have much stuff, but I'll share what I have and I hope you can contribute with more.
This might be from another project, but the stile is very similar.
Well, nobody seems to be interested.
Fair enough.
Nice. Bring some more, Albert!
It's interesting. I new about the facility in the desert. I can't remember who owns it now. I seem to remember it's Xerox. Perhaps I'm wrong.

Only if Soleri drew mammary glands and women's faces.
Nice thread btw.
I can appreciate how intricate these drawings are. Once you've seen architectural drawing and what goes into it you'll understand that this thread is actually pretty impressive. thanks op.

You can hardly call that little cluster of buildings in the desert a village. I like his designs though. RIP in peace Soleri.
