Honestly, I feel like that's a pretty accurate skin tone for Cleopatra. She's not completely whitewashed, and while I haven't watched any of their stuff before, it sounds like they adjusted the skin color so it'should not full KANGZ. It might be a bit too light, but it's close enough.

Depends on the rigor you're looking for (besides your dick that is). Most are like >>999218 or OP which takes something historical and fashions the characters and events to fit hentai tropes and fetishes.
Saint Foire Festival by Toko-Ya however is surprisingly good about playing historical themes, settings, and even fashions straight with only minimal hentai logic here and there.
The downside is that it's your standard Toko-Ya affair, with a handful of vanilla and lots of NTR and rape.

There are few rigorous historical works. Most of them tend to either adapt romanticized classics (Sangokushi is a good example) or biographies of famous figures (Yoshikazu's Alexandros and Joan, Iwaaki's Historie and Eureka) Then you have manga that focus on fictional protagonists in well-researched historical settings (Oudou no Inu follows the liberal revolutions in East Asia, Cestus is the story of a gladiator under Nero's reign, Otoyomegatari is in Central Asia.) Finally you have alternate history/fantasy settings but with plenty of historical references (Shoukoku no Altair is written by an actual historian. Ooku is excellent. LoGH would fit in this category too.) Of course you have a billion manga about the Sengoku Period and the Shinsengumi (go read/watch Hyouge Mono if you haven't already.)
As far as porn is concerned, history is only well-represented in yaoi and otome and even then they tend to take serious liberties. But man, don't tell me you don't want to see Elagabalus getting fucked like a whore.
