I'd make a show chronicling the last days and fall of Byzantium or Rome.
My dream would be a 7-10 long season series following the crusader princes all the way from western Europe, Constantinople, Antioch to Jerusalem.
This seems like a worn out topic on this board, but there are fuck-all films based in Byzantium. The only film I saw which had the 1453 fall of Constantinople was some Turk biased piece of shit.
Is it because we live in too sensitive a time (read: religion) for there to be some kind of epic movie adaption?
