Would it be accurate to associate Pepe with the Dionysian and Wojak with the Apollonian?
>>
>>944801
Pepe is Diogenes. Wojak is any stoic you can name.

>Philosophers
>Deities
You've got your shit confused

Diogenes is literally POO POO PEE PEE philosopher

I went with the philosophical implications of Pepe and Wojak. If you want deities
>Pepe = Loki/Anansi/Hermes
>Wojak = Jesus/Buddha

>>Wojak = Jesus/Buddha
How do you figure that?

Degeneration of common decency, morals.

Take for example the infamous product of Finnish autism: Spurdo Spärde.

The original Pedo Bear was genius. It was well drawn, original character with a life of it's own.

Only to be mocked on the most obscure finnish anime forums where all of it's original values were inverted to a Satanic mockery of the original.

Spurdo Spärde, Spurdo Spora, Spede Beard and even Spearmint Pudding: all of these abominations are a proof that even memes can fall high from grace and not even the memes can escape the Kali-Yuga. There is no true OC anymore.

There are so many subtle references and allegories to Nietzschean philosophy in this scene. Hotheads will never understand.

When Agent Wilson calls Bane a "big guy" he's clearly referencing him as the Übermensch, while himself indulges in slave morality represented by the authoritarian institution that is Central Intelligence Agency. Note how Wilson never references himself as his real name. There is no individuality in him, only CIA. The essence of slave morality (represented as the "flight plan", opposed to master morality - the "master plan") is utility: the good is what is most useful for the whole community, not the strong. But he does not see beyond initial good and evil.

Also prior to the scene, Wilson shoots out of the plane without actually killing anyone. He does so out of misguided anger, furious that neither faith in god nor scientific knowledge has not given him the rest or respite he desires. At the same time, CIA shooting the sky symbolizes the death of God as a source of morality for people, leading to the unhooding of Bane, the Übermensch.

When Bane crashes the plane with no survivors, he's crashing the entire worldview based on slave morality. He's crashing old thoughts and institutions such as religions (Christianity for example). He's crashing secular humanism. He's crashing herd mentality. He's crashing even himself, as he overcomes his former self to become the over-man. In this crash, a fire rises in the wreckage - the triumph of "life" over "logic"

Then, in the end Bane reminds Dr. Pavel that "Now is not the time for fear, that comes later!" The world is necessarily moved in a cycle, endlessly repeating all past events due to finite amount of matter and infinite amount of time. In this eternal recurrence, the plane crash will repeat - again and again.

But if life triumphs over logic, the only meaning is life then is the will to power, that means the big guy will always be in charge here.

Bravo Nolan.

Memes only spread if they resonate with the psyche of a significant proportion of internet users, it would be folly to dismiss their intrinsic value.

The internet is a machine of mass autonomy, through a single meme one person can influence millions, memes can build people up or break them down, sway them off course or bring them back, they can crush dreams or ignite them. Due to the anonymity of the internet it remains unrestrained by any social paux fas. It can show our dark side yet also force us to confront it in ways we would not if it were an unspoken taboo. Memes grow, morph and evolve, the word itself has become a meme, originally just an off the cuff term coined by the ultimate fedora tipper himself it is now habitually used across the world. There is currently a meme ecosystem on the internet and in our very minds, if we are what we think then memes can be said to permeate our very souls at a time when we are increasingly discovering how bleak, cold and soulless the universe very is.

We are still in the "cambrian explosion" era of memes, who knows how far it will go, or indeed, where.

Pepe is Arthur Schopenhauer as they both understand the humor in daily sufferings. Wojack is just a virtious kissless virgin stoic that keeps to himself and waits to see what death will make of his existence.

Also rare pepe's are a form of art.

All memes tend to post-ironical-memetic entropy.
