No competition.
He is the most influential figure of the 20th century by a mile. Defined essentially all politics of the 20th century.

He could have been the best in practice if he had waited, the man who could have saved and revitalised the British Labour Party above and beyond what Clement Attlee did to it. However he blew all his chances and potential by refusing to compromise with the older more Conservative elements of his party, instead exiling himself from his natural political home; to ally himself with the fringes of British politics where even there he didn't belong and was never truly accepted
I don't know about best, but Mussolini was pretty influential

Are you fucking serious?
The rise of the USSR and the spread of Leninism is the defining feature of the 20th century.
Without the USSR, we likely would have never got WW2, we would never have had the Cold War, Social Democracy and the Welfare state likely never would have taken hold in the west.
History would be completely different.
As much as faggot /pol/fags hate to admit it, Lenin is the defining politician of the 20th century. He literally defined all politics and most global geopolitics after him.

You can say that about nearly anything in history. Virtually all events have many causes.

bobby briggs, is that you?
Not even a contest. I can't think of another figure who did as much in as humane a way as he did. You can make your case for all sorts of 20th century leaders doing bigger things (i.e. Deng, Stalin, Lenin, etc.) but you aren't going to find one with as defined of principles as Mustafa.

Nope. Few businessmen have funded the Party, but their funding wasn't that notable (yet the most famous funders were Parvus and Savva Morozov). The local branches have been funding themselves through donations of people and expropriations (bank and post train wagon raids).

Granted Allende ran the economy into the ground, but at least he had a sense of proportionality, and was committed to a democratic Chile. Pinochet deserved a far worse death than he got.

You dont know what influental means.
His legacy defined most of everything that happened in20th century for better or worse.
>>930402
Nah, Lenin was much more influential you have to agree. Though Hitler did a LOT, the communist nations across the world are all pretty much because of the chain reaction he caused. Furthermore, what nations are still Fascist today?
>>930402
Wait shit I thought the thread said 'Most Influential' and not 'Best Politician'.
>>926386
I suppose it has to be him. For better or for worse, he absolutely redefined politics. Revolution as we know it was forged by Lenin.
>>930496
Wilson might have been influential, but hardly best. He was basically a "local man ruins everything" kind of guy.
