>Egyptians.
>Shitstomped by Seaniggers.
They defeated them in the great battle of the nile delta.
Well they were entire tribes on the move. I think the best explanation for the collapse is social unrest. The great Bronze age kingdoms had enormous populations for the time period. Mycenae, Pylos, and Tyrins dwarfed any of the classical Greek city-states. You had a godlike king ruling from his palace and his noble charioteers that the king ate with and probably knew each of them by name. Then you had masses of lightly armed infantrymen who were only needed during times of war. What happens when there is a long peace between the great kingdoms and highly mobile tribes disrupt the fragile trade networks that are the heart's blood of these gigantic cities?

Some kind of environmental shit, likely a massive series of volcanic eruptions causing crops to fail and hordes of people to move to found a new living space.
It's very probable that the Atlantis myth is based on it.
>>915251
but the santorini explosion happened a few centuries earlier
>>915301
Maybe it was unusual volcanic activity coupled with soil erosion and social decay.
Sea peoples threads are so unbelievably trash tier, pretty much on a par with germanwank and alt-history.

It was something much bigger than just Santorini. We have discovered a trace of gigantic population migrations even in China from that period, something probably caused crazy ass crop failure all around the planet.

True, an interesting note from a recent work (he's talking about a site in Cyprus):
This group may correspond to a first peaceful wave (of Sea People) who pitched their camps in this region some time before the eighth year of Ramses III… The final destruction … may be attributed to a second and larger wave of Sea peoples, who vanquished both the population and country of Amurru. (BADRE, 2006: 93). Prosegue Karageorghis: It is most probable that among the Aegean immigrants there were also some refugees from Sardinia. This may corroborate the evidence from Medinet Habu that among the Sea Peoples there were also refugees from various part of the Mediterranean, some from Sardinia, the Shardana or Sherden. … It is probable that these Shardana went first to Crete and from there they joined a group of Cretans for an eastward adventure. (KARAGEORGHIS, 2011b: 90)

Legitimately frustrates me. One of the most important events in human history and all we've got on it are some Egyptian tomb enscriptions and broken pottery.

If we consider the possibility of someting like that happening, and the possibility of the strait of Sicily being the original pillars of Hercules (realistic if we believe Avienus saying that the Celts live beyond it), the arrival of the sea people from the damaged Sardinia, that later becomes ispiration for Atlantis, makes sense.
>>915611
We also have that letter from Ugarit and shit like that. I think the raiders first ravaged the islands in the eastern Mediterranean, then invaded Anatolia and the Levand and slowly progressed down towards Egypt where they got BTFO.

No the Sea People are the ghost warrior of the Lemurians who died in the Hyper War. They emerged in the late Bronze Age because of the failure of the arctic soul circuit 6,000 years after the fall of the Finnish Empire.

There are some stele-statues in Corsica with the same "lobster" armor and the same horned helmet with an identical shape to that of the Sherden, these weird sculptures are dated to the bronze age, the stele-statues have sculpted swords too in their chests.
