As for the "Aryan" thing, it was in use long before Hitler and basically synonymous with "Indo-European". It was first used this way in the 1800s by French demographer Arthur de Gobineau. After WW2 everything to do with with Nazis = bad, so it fell out of use and is now exclusively associated with them. It was not "evil madman European dictator culturally appropriates ethnic term from oppressed POCs" like it is considered today.
