Autistic people can have great, interesting, constructive hobbies and they know them pretty well.
Except most of the time they'll get into collecting spoons or learning 1000001 facts about grates. Which will ultimately turn them into depressed neets, while they could've been somewhat productive(or very productive) members of society with happy families and the like.

I just like to collect loads of pictures of architecture, art, artifacts, reconstructions, etc, as well as books and articles on as many civilizations and cultures as I can.
It wouldn't be that autistic if I didn't spend almost all of my free time on this shit. My collection adds up to about 30 gigabytes now. Sometimes I spend all day just browsing through it, looking at things.

/g/ has the gentooman's library, a ~50 GiB torrent of technical ebooks.
I don't see why /his/ shouldn't have the same for historical resources and recommended reading. I know I would find a sorted collection of primary sources from as many time periods as possible, with different translations, as a big help.
It'll help those on this board that want to learn but can't due to not having access to academic resources or whatever be able to.
I have an osprey collection, ~30 GiB that I can contribute. It should have all the ebooks.

out of all the diseases of the soul that the west has contributed to the world, i find psychiatry to be the most repugnant.
