I'd proudly anti-intellectual. Not because I hate intelligence, but because I'm wary of the political objectives of the intelligentsia as a caste. They have brought so much destruction and suffering based on their pretty theories, and they hide so much their own power and domination over society by always presenting themselves as neutrals that I can't help but feel at them the same way a freethinker in the XIXth century would feel at a priest.
Actually, that's the best comparison to my own anti-intellectualism, it's just like the anticlericalism of the decades past. Being an anticlerical doesn't mean you hated the scientific works of Gregor Mendel or Georges Lemaitre, you were just opposed to the political and cultural power of the priestly class.
Now the priestly class is not the Christian clergy anymore, but the secular intelligentsia, and guess what, they are just as bad.
