British forces in North Africa faced a perennial struggle to keep sand out of vital equipment. After almost a year and a half of testing various solutions, they came to the conclusion in late 1941 that condoms worked best to keep machinery free of sand.

there's no way this is true. the goddamned telephone hadn't even been invented yet.

>In 1876, Scottish emigrant Alexander Graham Bell was the first to be granted a United States patent for a device that produced clearly intelligible replication of the human voice.

>The sushi roll and sandwich were created in the same century. Both were made by noblemen, one in Japan and one in Europe, who loved playing games (Go and Chess, respectably)

first of all, anyone using "respectably" to mean "respectively" is obviously a moron.

secondly, the story goes that the Earl of Sandwich was a compulsive gambler which is why he wouldn't leave the game, the game being cards, not chess.

not him, but it's the best drug I've done. that's out of weed, alcohol, LSD, mushrooms and MDMA. [and I guess "regular" stuff like caffeine, tobacco etc]

potential problems:

purity varies widely, as with all street drugs.

moreover, it opens the floodgates of your dopamine (good) but it keeps them open for a long time and you run out. the next day is really weird and people who do it all the time can't be happy anymore. they say if you take prozac a few hours after onset it closes the valves again and dopamine will build up to proper levels overnight and you're fine. if you want to really do it right and can get prozac and set an alert to take it when you're partying your ass off that would be the safest use. but just doing it sporadically should be fine, too. the phish-tour hippies used to call the heavy users "rolled away."

be safe, have fun
(and if you take MDMA, you _will_ have fun, it is impossible not to)
