weren´t they berbers?
>>
>>919751
Hmmmm...

The structures have been dated to the 19th century and they may originally have been a byproduct of contemporary agricultural techniques.
>>
>>919154
Interestingly enough the indigenous peoples that live around Lake Titicaca also make Egyptian style reed boats...
>>
>>919154
Are they descendants of atlantis?
>>
>>919964
Even Sardinians (from the sinis mostly) have that tradition.
>>
>>919154
i've heard the whistling language it's fuckin amazing that the human brain can function like that
>>
>>919154
These guys were based as fuck. Fuck the Spanish for crushing them. So many neat civilisations have been completely obliterated from memory with naught to remember them by.
>>
>>919154
Hey anon, they actually aren't that ancient since their specific variety of Berber is quite new and their genetics seem to reflect contact with Arabs over a sustained amount of time.

What I will say however is that they seem to have retained characteristics of Aqualithic Africans, having mostly migrant neolithic Eurasian ancestry.

Islenos still have Guanche ancestry tho

They're really not very interesting.

>Abora was a Bolivian-made reed boat, designed in 2002, to travel more than 450 nautical miles (518 mi; 833 km) between Egypt, Lebanon and Cyprus.
What does this have to do with Guanches, and who cares anyway? Reed boats are found all over the place, usually only used on lakes and rivers. They're basically the most primitive kind of watercraft there is.

>19th century
Who cares.

>https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azores#History
>A small number of alleged hypogea, earthen structures carved into rocks that were used for burials, have been identified on the islands of Corvo, Santa Maria and Terceira by Portuguese archaeologist Nuno Ribeiro, who speculated that they might date back 2000 years, alluding to a human presence on the island before the Portuguese.[11] However, these kinds of structures have always been used in the Azores to store cereals, and suggestions by Ribeiro that they might be burial sites are unconfirmed. Detailed examination and dating to authenticate the validity of these speculations is lacking.[12] It is unclear whether these structures are natural or man-made and whether they predate the 15th-century Portuguese colonization of the Azores. Solid confirmation of a pre-Portuguese human presence in the archipelago has not yet been published.

>>Have a writing system
Just like any other Berbers. Who cares.

>>Have a whistling language
>https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silbo_Gomero#History
I guess that's pretty cool.
>>
>>919154
Does anyone have a link to the Guanche comic? I saw someone making one in spanish I think.
>>
>>919964
Because they have almost no trees and plenty of totora, no big deal. It's kinda sad how pre-Inca Andes are most famous for shitty conspiracy theories surrounding them.
