>>70069
Sorry my dear anon, that's not the Austria-Hungary empire.
>ottoman Iceland
Is this real
So, who was the best king in your opinion?
>>70102
This. The British Empire was most definitely the greatest empire ever in terms of geographic, economic, and cultural influence. Ottoman Empire ranks high on the list, but don't forget that in OP's map an awful lot of that land area was practically uninhabited.
even without flags, it's easy to spot t*rks
>>70141
I think they owned it technically for a year or something. It was that or they raided it once and it became a meme that they owned it. Cant remember which.
Move over. The only real empire is here!
>>70069
Iceland? Is this real?

THE ORIGINAL EMPIRE
>>70069
Definitely not the greatest empire in history. It was pretty interesting though. I don't agree with everything in this video, but this guy makes some good points in all of his stuff.

I keep hearing that the Eastern part of the Roman Empire was so much richer and advanced compared to the rest...
But looking at this picture, France, Tunisia and England were the most prosperous areas in the Roman Empire. Is this true?
>>70862
>England
>Prosperous
>300 B.C.
Nigga, there was nothing there but a thousand celtic tribes.
>>70376
>Ottoman architecture
were you born this retarded
>implying it isnt a byzantine cathedral with just a bunch of minarets
>>70895
>300 BC
Maybe you shouldn't be posting here if you are functionally illiterate.
>The map clearly states CE.
>England has the highest amphitheaters in the Roman Empire outside of Italy, Tunisia and France.
Seems pretty prosperous to me.
>>70069
>Iceland
What the fuck?
>>70286
Not quite large , but you are right about quality. Awesome architecture and style ,indeed
>>71034
*highest amphitheater density
>not including the coolest of empires

Its the blue mosque, jesus youre stupid. You don't even know what the Haiga Sophia looks like, typical byzzieboo.
>>71384
It's the blue mosque.
>>71556
Are you serious? Those mosques all look like cheap copies of the Hagia Sophia, built more than a thousand years after the original.
How would an average Westerner know?
>>70102
>bunch of ragtag colonies
>he...here you go guys. Just promise you will give us some monies please :)
fuck off britkek
>>71556

>>71645
>Are you serious? Those mosques all look like cheap copies of the Hagia Sophia, built more than a thousand years after the original.
Because they both have giant domes? They look nothing alike. Its probably time to stop posting and consider suicide.

hard to disagree...if only their army was willing to technologically expand beyond 18th century weaponry.
>>71839
it isnt about getting refuted its about being so damn hostile about it, cant we talk about historical things without being assholes
also not the guy he was talking to it just seemed interesting
>>70457
>that big empty spot some call "France"

>>70069
In all honesty turks did a pretty impressive job of carving up an empire
>>70215
>t. john green
>>71777
Both are simply a collection of domes, yes.
The Ottoman Empire was a stagnant backwards regional power. This was all they could do. Make a cheap copy of Roman Architecture.

Ayyyyy
Honestly wouldn't mind if the Austrians reinstated the Hapsburgs and took us back in, Hungary had its golden age with the Austrians.
Austria today is pretty based minus the Syrian colonies.
>>70069
Wow turks manage to be obnoxious on every board here
>>70093
Tbh it was a continuation of the eastern empire with a switch of religious fixation. Or in the least a sucessor state that ended up holding most of its land. Also
>iceland

>>71677
These colonies rule the world m8
>>72161
>t has never been inside the sultan ahmet mosque
First time I got goosebumbs from architecture was when I saw the mosaic inside it
>>72293
search the fucking thread for the answer
>>72387
No definitive answer, one person says it may be a technicality or ownership by raiding without posting any info.
>>72368
I've been inside it.
Unfortunately (or fortunately) I had already seen countless of amazing cathedrals before it, so it looked a little bland.
The Hagia Sophia was very cool though.
>>72517
They occupied it a few months but yeah that map is a meme map but again it shows how butthurt some people are when reacting so harshly to this thread.
>>72561
I found the hagia sophia boring desu the other mosques were far prettier especially on the inside.
>>70457
>South Africa and new Zealand don't have American facilities.
I thought they were our friends qq

>>70069
It's actually one of the shittiest empires in history. They did basically nothing noteworthy except taking control of a bunch of land. The Ottoman Empire was so backwards it didn't even have a printing press until the 19th century.
>>70102
>sail up to some empty island because the turks wont let us pass in the mediterranean
>plant a flag on it
>shoot the spear wielding niggers living there a few times with the musket, they think were gods

trade wise and culturally, big impact yeah. But its not the same.
>Turks
>Heroically besiege and capture heavily defended city after city
>Fight the best armies of the time

im sure thats why they built all those bridges in the balkans while the slavs were busy swimming...
List of superior empires

>German
>Chinese

>Sumerian

Daily reminder you needed Western European powers to come bail your asses out when Russia was about to btfo you.

You could win against slavshits but the moment you reached a powerful foe in Vienna your shit quality showed.
