Why did Marx's Left Fascism win out against true Socialism?
>>

For many of the lower class, the cultural conservativism that often comes with Marxism is a lot more attractive than the libertarian socialists, who seem to be out of touch bourgeoisie.

Never post again.

Marx seemed more analytical and less about being dreamy

>out of touch bourgeoisie
Marx and especially Engels fit that description quite well.

And Bakunin wasn't a bourgeoise, he was a nobleman.

Material conditions of a society will always crush idealist fantasies.

>"Out of touch"
Being a bourgeoisie isn't the problem, it's being a bourgeoisie and not being a class traitor.
>>
>>604721
Again, Bakunin was a nobleman from Russia before the abolishment of serfdom. So he came from a strictly feudal background, not bourgeoise.

Engels however came from the household of a wealthy industrialist while Marx was a son of an urban Jewish lawyer who converted to Lutheranism, they were as bourgeoise as it gets.

Did you even read the fucking post?

>>604742
Yes and your post technically implies that Marx and Engels were class traitors.

>the cultural conservativism that often comes with Marxism is a lot more attractive than the libertarian socialists
But that's only in the XX century. Back in the XIX century, anarchists and earlier socialists were the conservative ones, while marxists attracted the weird people of the day, feminists and such, even though some anarchists were feminists. Today Proudhon is a controversial figure among anarcho-feminists because of his views on women. This changed after WW2, when post-modernism lifts off and marxism is equated with the Soviet block.

You posted in this thread without being a familiar with basic terminology? Embarrassing, as usual.

I mean this is a pseudo dilemma; first of all, the soviet states were established on Lenin's doctrines. To what extent Lenin's sayings and Marx sayings collide, is open to discussion, and personally, I don't think Lenin established any school of thought...
