The war banner of the French King from 1124 until the end of the Middle-Ages, it was kept in Saint-Denis and used only when the kingdom faced great threat
Its meaning was particular: when it was raised in battle in meant the French troops would not take any prisoner and kill everyone, even nobles instead of ransoming them

I prefer the Royal Standard apposed to this, have one on my wall. Of course, Cromwell wasn't much of a monarchy loving guy.
I really love the Venetian flag.
I think this would be a great, great flag for when the U.S. disintegrates and New England has to go it alone.

They are lamers and retards, by true Islam messenger of an allah is Archangel Gabriel, Muhammad of a simply mortal prophet.
messenger ≠ prophet
>>603354
It uses "rasul allah" which means the messenger of god. Every prophet (nabi) is also a messenger (rasul).
"God took a covenant from the prophets, saying, "I will give you the scripture and wisdom. Afterwards, a messenger will come to confirm all existing scriptures. You shall believe in him and support him." He said, "Do you agree with this, and pledge to fulfil this covenant?" They said, "We agree." He said, "You have thus borne witness, and I bear witness along with you." 3:81

>I know a bit of Russian, and it reads the same... but it sort of looks like a Glagolitic style script. Is it Macedonian like this one?
Its Cyrillic, its written in Bulgarian, those are all standards of the Macedonian-Adrianopolitan volunteer corps from the Balkan wars. Apart from the green one, thats from the Melnik uprising. The last one reads "God watch over Macedonia" but i think you got that.

It's amazing how well they've been preserved. What do the 4 M's stand for? Where are you from?
I'll share with you a little bit of my own country's history. This flag here is called "An Camchéachta" (The Starry Plough), and was flown high by Arm Cathartha na hÉireann during the Easter Rising of 1916, where Irishmen and Irishwomen declared their Republic free from British oppression. You probably recognise it as a famous constellation.

Nice. I have to admit i don't know much about Irish history, apart from watching "the wind that shakes the barley" i haven't really went that much into it. Ther are some historians here that try to establish a link, or similarity with the IRA and the IMRO, but those are fringe historians desu, i know i read somewhere that some Irish writer wrote that there were only two countries in Europe that were in the exact same position, Ireland and Macedonia, but i cant find him.

>>593988
They didn't have one as heraldry was not introduced yet. They used eagles like the romans they were. Eventually the two headed eagle (that was not roman at all) got popular. They also used other typical roman insignia like the labarum with the chi ro.
