Is life an adventure or a burden?
>>
>>573614
A privilege
>>
It's a labyrinth Borges wrote for you.
>>
Supposed to be an adventure.

Since the Fall in Genesis and the introduction of sin and death, life has become a burden.
>>
>>573614
it's a game and you have to go for the high score in the minigames
>>
>>573614
an experience
>>
Chemical chance.

Why does my brain tell me to do so? I sit here consciously aware that gaming is dead and casualized and yet I can't wait for the next 12 year old pubstomping simulator.

Aren't humans supposed to be the apex of darwinism, shaped by a 1 in a million hardship with the sole purpose of achieving galactic dominion and eternal life?
>>
>>573614
It can be both. For most people it is a burden.
>>
>>573677
nope, and not even Darwin suggested it
on the contrary, we are merely animals that overcomplicate means towards the same goals..
>>
>>573687
>Darwin

Kill yourself.
>>
>>573614
Without meaning or intend.
>>
>>573614
how can something that has no alternatives be a burden. Pls help me out here?

Born with a dick shorter than 7 inches. That is what i call a burden, or for a matter of fact not be born with one at all.
>>
>>573614
Entirely your choice.
>>
>>573614
Life is a burden. To treat life like an adventure leads to decadence and hedonism, which ultimately damns the individual.

Life is suffering. That is the first noble truth.
>>
>>573718
I assume OP is talking about anti-natalism here, so the alternative is to have been never been born at all.
>>
>>573614
A blessing.
>>
>>574108
Yeah but where there's suffering there is also joy.
>>
>>574115
How do create nothing from something? How can be burden? Pls help. No
>>
>>573614
Life is what you make it

>Darwin is bad
>>
It is neither. Life itself is objectively meaningless. It is only through the complexity of the brain that allows you to feel anything beyond the here and now. Life is what you make of it. A man can choose any direction he wishes. There is nothing stopping him but the self.
>>
>>574412
>objectively
Please give me your objective proof.
>>
>>573614
Adventures are full of burdens. Life is an adventure and several burdens at the same time.
>>
Life is a highway:
I want to ride it
All night long.

If you believe your an animal then you will live in constant tension.
>>573687
>Believing this garbage
Everything tells you otherwise yet you persist because you have an irrational belief in "science" the abstract concept that is recognized by those who do not think as infallible.
Perhaps if you thought for yourself instead of being convinced by mere rhetoric from what others have told you (yes, I can say with certainty that your knowledge of biology, chemistry, physics, etc, Is not yours but what you've taken from others) then you might find yourself arriving at true knowledge.

Only when you embrace that you know nothing can you realize that you can know something.

Darwin was a bit of chump who didn't even like his own work.

An itch you can't scratch.
Or maybe the sound of TV in the background while you're doing something else. Shit doesn't stop happening
>>
Life is amazing until you die, there is no reason for any human that transformed his egoistic will into altruistic one to die.

I want to exist and give, to sacrifice myself for the sake of others.
>>
Depending where you're born, it could be one, the other, maybe even a mix of both. My life feels mostly an adventure so far, and a little bit of a burden.
>>
it changes depending on whether you're adventuring or bored
>>
>>574261

All pleasure and joy is fleeting, in the end it returns to suffering.
>>
>>580133
Says the rich kid.
>>
>>573614
depends on the choices you make

if you are a slave and do nothing about your condition it is a burden, if you try to escape it becomes an adventure
>>
>>573643
Shit son, I didn't need these feels.
