funny, there is that stallone movie, where they get trapped underground in New York, in the end they ask him something ans he answers "...but next time we are going with a plane" and then they show a landshot of NY, with WTC in the middle

I'm pretty sure the reason they took them down was because they're weight was sinking Manhattan. Starting a profitable war in the middle East was just a bonus.
