Do those Muslims that think everyone is born a Muslim, also believe everyone naturally follows Muslim law as outlined in the sunnah and all that? Have there ever been any attempts to see if people from birth will BE Muslims? I don't mean just being submissive towards a higher power, but following all the rules and whatnot.

Actually a newborn child is sinless, not sure about already having faith from birth. most animals are considered Muslims as they have no free will to defect from the submission of God, maybe newborn be considered as Muslim, not sure though.
I imagine they think that. Supposedly many believe that Muhammad was born a Muslim

Sure, why not, I've seen christians claim the same

Not all do. That's why the most popular depiction of Muhammad (only in non-Sunni communities, obviously) is of him as a child.
It's actually a picture of a Tunisian kid IIRC
Everyone is a Muslim until they are indoctrinated into other beliefs. I'm sure plenty of people remember their faith in God in their early years.
This has been studied by Bruce Hood of Bristol University, but he dismisses it as evolving for no discernible reason but survival.

Well, one Muslim """intellectual""" I know that stated this does not believe this to be the came. Zakir Naik stated that while all children are born Muslims by birth but, once they are indoctrinated in a new religion they change.

He has a good memory.
>everybody is born Muslim
>death for apostasy
>thus death to non muslims
wow that's not even radical at all.

That's not how it works.
The word that's translated to "apostate" in the original has the connotations of sedition/violence against Muslims. It's a terrible translation.

The real question is why are people not muslim?
Islam is the perfect way of life
Why wish for Allah's anger as opposed to his pleasure?
