Old, wildly inaccurate, maps are always funny to look at.
>>51346
I've already seen some of these map style posted. Where are they from?
Contributing with some of my map folder (though it's mostly geography, not history), by the way.
OC here. Rate.

Where's the Eastern Han Empire?
>Japan
Why is the entire island chain labeled Japan when whatever that political entity is is only on three islands?
Where is Ryukyu?
>Moche
Why do they have a defined border?
>Malays
Are they supposed to be an empire or what?
>Mongols
Why are the Mongols in Sibera and not in Mongolia? I mean, look at that map. They're north of Lake Baikal, which is way beyond Outer Mongolia.

>Where's the Eastern Han Empire?
That's not how chinese dynasties work. They're called eastern or western (or southern-northern) depending on the placement of the capital.
>Japan
Probably refers to actual japanese people as opposed to ainu. I don't know enough japanese history to confirm.
>Moche
We more or less know the extension of the moche kingdoms/chiefdoms. I've seen this guy doing the same before, though he should have clarified by writing "moche kingdoms".
>Malays
Of fucking course they're not an empire.
>Mongols
Probably speculation, we can only talk about proto-mongols and proto-turks at this point of history. Anyways the placement of mongols falls pretty much in modern buryatia (russia) inhabitated by mongolic speking peoples. Mongolia wasn't just independent and chinese mongolia.

Not shilling for /pol/, but the myths about 'jews poisoning wells' apparently came from around that time.
Furthermore, Poland was the ashkenazi homeland at around that time.
Coincidence? Maybe. But I feel like legends always have at least some true substance to them, it's always been that way.

>be Malay
Malays are a race really, consisting of several empires that existed in what is now Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia and maybe even a bit of the Philippines. The largest empire there, may have been the Majapahit. Malays were mostly separated into city states that fought each other for control of trade routes. Owning lots of land here wasn't really a great thing back then as it was mostly jungle and jungles are fuck hard to clear and turn into a city unlike a forest. What you really wanted to control to show your power and create wealth were the trade routes. It was located between China and India and just about all trade had to pass through Malay waters, so there was plenty of money to be made then.

>>62741
They don't. Poland was more effective at closing it's borders. The map is also misleading. Milan lost around 15% of their pop while Poland lost around 25%. Thanks to the Christian King Casimir who wisely controlled trade routes and was able to easily quarantine them once the illness began to spread.
Jews poisoning wells is one of those ad hoc ergo propter hocs (read: superstitions) from that time that survived much easier than say the horseshit about black cats and ladders and broken mirrors. I guess it's because of all the mental illness people suffer these days.
