Denmark.... actually does pretty well integrating them and becomes the leading Norse nation economically.
And Austria will probably get a tonne of prestige by becoming the cultural heartland of the German people, and will benefit from the rising German diaspora's nationalism and seperatist tendencies, resulting in an eventual anschluss with the confiscated territories that don't integrate (meaning most of what's in the square between Munster, Berolinsk, Nuremhora and Strasbourg)

This was something the Allies proposed to do after WW2 to deal with Germany, and was based on a similar idea of balkanising the German states following WW1.
After Hitler steamrolled Poland though, they thought scrubbing away the German state altogether would suffice, but obviously wouldn't be feasible.

The 1st Crusade is moderately more successful, and the Kingdom of Jerusalem survives until modern day, with territory a little bit bigger than it had historically.
