America would be split in two, so neither of the two would ever get too powerful. It would also make it harder for the US to hold onto other territories they had like California since they would see them as weak, but Im sure they would stay in anyway since they had no real reason to leave, but it would make a super strong central government that we have today impossible.
Also, neither would have entered either world war. Plus the south would spin the story in their favor showing how great they treated the natives, especially compared to Lincoln (which indians fucking HATE)

The only resource you'd really get from invading the CSA would be the cotton, and you're not going to be able to produce a lot of it without slavery, and most of the European countries had already outlawed slavery by the time of the American Civil War.
