The so-called Chinese "Nest-Cart"
Came about from around the T'ang Dynasty. Its not really a weapon, but an observation post built higher than the enemy's walls to enable a good view of what the fuck is happening.
Comes in two versions: one which is basically an elevator lift. The other a pole that has a small cabin.

Literally the only countries that recognize it are America, Canada, former anticommunist dictatorships in Latin America, and butthurt eastern euros. Even western Europe is all "ehhh" about it.
