What does it matter? Given Pakistan's history of radicalization and fondness of sponsoring terrorism against both Iran and India, its not going to matter in the next few decades.

Just look at the Saud's. They stayed in power because they use Wahhabi scholars to rile up and keep its citizens in line and to preserve their rule. Only problem is that the Saudi's need to keep the scholars in line every so often.
