How do you interpret this? I personally interpret this to mean any art form (photography, painting, drawing, music, filmography, etc.) Many people create idols out of images & sound and that's why we need to avoid all art forms because they can become idols in our life. We live in a culture of selfies, where so many are so obsessed with how they look as they to create an image of themselves that can be idolized on social media. It's insanity and the work of the devil.

God makes it clear in Exodus that making anything in the likeness of something on Earth, in Heaven, or in the water under the Earth is going against him.
Giving a child a toy, teddy bear, or doll creates an idol in his mind, a crutch.
Taking photos of someone, your family, your children is creating a PILLAR to them, especially when you hang it up in your house or have it on your desk at work or put it in your wallet. It's idolatry and is a sin.
The way of this world goes against God as he talks about over & over again. Do not abide by how most people on this planet live...live for God and obey his word.
