Hey /his/, first time poster. I've been lurking for the past few days and you all seem somewhat reasonable so I thought to ask; what are the essential books to read as primers to history? Like there's the classic literature that influences basically all of literature that follows it, what are the seminal books when it comes to huge ideas like art, religion, war, etc.
