If Liu hadn't wasted a lifetime of soldiers and supplies on a foolish revenge mission then maybe. Hell if had just accepted Sun Quan's offer of peace (which included Jing province) then he might have stood a chance. Shu died the day his 700 000 strong army got burnt to a crisp.
But even then it was a stretch. Liu Beu represented the old rule, with the anarchy that came with it. Cao Cao had solved all the issues plaguing the north china plain and had the support of the people. Liu Bei was just a charismatic upstart.
