What went wrong?

The power of God is directly related to the amount of people who believe in him.

It's like the Gods of the warp in 40k.
>>
>>318515
Or like the lady of the lake in Merlin.

Or fairies in neverland.

It's actually kind of true with religion. Look at how much power and influence the Catholic Church used to have. They were literally more powerful because so many people believed

Didn't Christianity reach its peak population around 1890? Why didn't God do shit then?

God changed his methods the moments Jesus was born into this world and ascended into heaven. The old ways of doing things was no longer necessary. Miracles have still happened for over two thousand years and have been recorded by the Catholic and Orthodox Church.

I don't know where you're getting your data from but there are more miracles in post- crucifixion Catholic and Orthodox tradition than there are in the entire Bible, and some of them are about as large in scale as Old Testament miracles. Look through the history of Catholic tradition, including 20th century Catholic tradition, and you'll see Mary turning the tides of battles, the sun dancing across the sky, diseases being cured on a large scale, etc. etc. I think that this argument actually gives Protestants something to think about, but according to Catholics and Orthodox, who make up the majority of Christianity, what that graph suggests just isn't true.

You do realize that the toast meme was a Christian autist right? Atheist Autists are sperging out over what Christian Autists do. The key factor here isn't atheism or christianity, it's autism.

It doesn't matter what they believe, autists will always be pieces of shit about it. In a few decades, 95% of autists will be aborted at birth like Down Syndrome, and everyone else will be better off for it. The remaining 5% will be Christian. Funny, isn't it.

Actually, it has a vague connection:

Autists are actually super bad at seeing and reading human faces.
>>
>>327046
He's right, but not about the scale really. In both the Catholic and Orthodox traditions God was RIDICULOUSLY busy post crucifixion, the obsession with saintly hood and miracles was fucking real.

The most impressive supposed miracles are all in the Old Testament though, obviously, but the quantity and regularity at which they occurred increased massively with Christianity.

>The founder of Milan's Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, friar, physician and psychologist Agostino Gemelli, met Padre Pio once, for a few minutes, and was unable to examine his stigmata.[33] According to Agostino Gemelli, Padre Pio was "an ignorant and self-mutilating psychopath who exploited people's credulity." [34] Gemelli speculated that Padre Pio kept his wounds open with carbolic acid. As a result, Padre Pio was required to wrap the wounds in cloth. For many years, he wore fingerless gloves that concealed his wounds. According to believers, the bleeding continued for some 50 years until the wounds closed within hours of his death.[32]

>is an autist
>>
>>329814
Autism isn't a catch-all. this is one trait that is common among this group. just because there are diverse forms of autism doesn't mean there aren't common traits they share
>>
>>332892
So what are the common symptoms across all forms of autism?
>>
>>333022
All autists have problems with oversensitive senses.
Please note that this is just a theoretical fact, and while all autists suffer from this, a lot of them don't ever notice it in their real lives, it has no implications to their lives. It is a truth, but for many, it's so weak that it's really difficult to distinguish from normally sensitive senses, especially if you also consider coping mechanisms.
So you may meet an autist, and he may tell you that he has no problems with oversensitive senses, but that would only be because his version of this problem is so weak he hasn't noticed it. He would still suffer from it, he just wouldn't know.
>>
>>333396

>>
>>334974
if that is a leading question then; are you actually retarded? who the fuck even came close to saying that? are you just shoving words into anyone's mouth in order to make your arguments come out?
sight is one of the senses you fucking turbotard, so autism can affect it, doesn't mean it always does, but sometimes you can get that result.

if that was a genuine question, and not a leading one, then; no, not all forms affect your vision
>>

K
>>
>>335030
oh, okay, so you are actually retarded. i get it now, my bad.
yeah, visual savants get thousands of images flooding their brain every time they look at something and the way they can act is their brain trying to handle this massive flood of information. savants are a good example of this. they can recreate images after seeing them once because they saw thousands of iterations of it, where as a normal brain would only see it a few times at a normal length glance and can't properly recreate it off the information sorted and stored. autism has a huge range of ways it can affect someone, not just visual inputs, but auditory savants exist as well, or mathematical savants. whoever wrote the comment "Autists are actually super bad at seeing and reading human faces" is just generalizing, or is just generally retarded (just like you)

I mean, history repeats, so we always do the same shit, maybe it got dull to watch after the first couple thousand years.

Maybe he went and created another race on the other side of the galaxy to pass the time, and they're currently only in Roman era timeline-wise.
