Yes, and he was also the only good leader in the Middle East in 200 years.
>>
>>292770
I am mostly wondering how fast he is currently spinning
>>
>>293078
I expect that the AKP could generate some renewable energy by wrapping him in copper wire and then putting all the women in burkas.
>>
>>292870
Why are they dashing his legacy then
>>
>>293113
Because muh ottoman legacy.

Ataturk wasn't able to smash them all and now with the rising prevalence of nonsecularism in the middle east since the 70's they're coming back out of the woodwork.
>>
>>292835
delet this.
>>
>>292770
He transformed a decaying power in the doormat of the West.

Erased the history, identity, language and faith of an entire nation.

And of course, promoted a heinous genocide in the process.

300 years at 15? Yes, 300 years towards insignificance, tyranny and servility. It was not for nothing that Lenin admired him. The Bolsheviks envied the success he had to erase and rewrite Turkey.

The "Divus" Caesar did less harm to the Republic than Mustafa Kemal "Ataturk" to the Turkey.
>>

With morally unacceptable cost.

He let kurds spread.

He erased those things that related with being "arab" and "muslim". He revived Old Turkic history and traditions.

I like how the greatest leader in modern middle eastern history is lambasted by you /pol/ites for being anti-primitive supertition and anti-barbaric cultural practices.

Also, just look at what secularism has done for Turkey. These 'liberal' ideas of not running society off medieval, backward bullshit and promoting science and objective fact have made Turkey the greatest nation by far in the middle east.

We need more Ataturks for the Middle East, Africa and India. Religion is an objective detriment to society.

I remember aggravating Turks back when I played Mount and Blade by going on about how Ataturk was a pedophile. They really didn't like that.
To be clear, I don't think he was a pedophile I was just messing around and my god did it work.

He redistributed the property of the victims of Armenian Genocide to a new Turkish middle class.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confiscated_Armenian_properties_in_Turkey

>Historians argue that the mass confiscation of Armenian properties was an important factor in forming the economic basis of the Turkish Republic while endowing Turkey's economy with capital. The appropriation led to the formation of a new Turkish bourgeoisie and an exclusive middle class.
>>
>>292802
That's nice and right, but in the end he just substituted the rules of one religion and it's priests (Islam) with the rules of another religion and it's priests (Freemasonry).

Ataturk was no liberal, he was a dictator whose intellectuals and bureaucrats decided "the civil and criminal law of Turkey", it's Constitution, the "details of the lives of each Turk, his food, the hours of rising and sleeping, the shape of his clothes", and everything else he complains about Islam.

The problem with Islam is rule by ulema, it's rule by "intellectuals", it's exactly the same problem with radicalism (rule by Freemasons), Marxism (rule by academicians) and other abstract, priestly class ideologies. They are not so much a negation of Islam as it is it's evolution according to the necessities of another era.

The problem with secularism in the Middle East is that it is basically a vessel for the propagation of communism, which destroys the economy of the country and makes the petty merchant class, which is traditionally influential in Islamic countries, support Islamism instead.

The support of the Ayatollahs in Islam, the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and Erdogan in Turkey is based around this small merchant class that are fucked by the socialist policies of "secularist" governments. Of course, it would be impossible for secularists to be anything other than commies because secularism IS communism.

Some constructive advice: repeatedly breaking a basic grammar rule makes it harder for people to respect what you're writing.
>>
>>297442
That happens when you create authoritarian states only interested in killing people and enriching the rulers while doing little to benefit their citizens (ex. Syria, Egypt,, Iraq).

there is oil and vast mineral resources in north korea too. it's why the japanese invaded and occupied the country.

False. There is an abundance in coal resources in North Korea. The Japanese had to go further Manchuria for oil .

>>299744

Freemason lodges in Turkey were shut down under Ataturk's rule.
>>
>>301582
As they should.
>>
>>301393
Fair enough. You can take it with hostility if you like. But people can only judge you by the quality of your writing, and you're demonstrating an ignorance of basic grammar.
