What language is written on this pyramid? It was made in Egypt. All of my searches for ancient Egyptian languages have come up with hieroglyphs which do not match the marks. Can someone help me with this?

It looks a bit like a stylized form of Egyptian Hieratic, but it may just be faked.
What is the origin of this artifact?

Received it from a friend who bought it in some souvenir shop in Egypt, sometime in the 80's. Had a sticker saying "Made in Egypt", but this lends no credibility to the markings being a real language. Your picture is the closest looking to writing I've come across.

No. It's very likely that someone just wrote some signs with the intention of having them look vaguely like hieroglyphs without actually knowing any.
