So I recently decided to convert to Mormonism and the more I look into it the more it looks like the perfect Christian religion. So why don't more Christians embrace it?

Mormonism came into the world too late; it's not any more or less believable, but it had to face the scrutiny of modern record keeping.

I don't believe in any of the crap either. But at least something like Catholicism has the benefit of the doubt. Many things are lost from ancient history.
Mormonism on the other hand has a pretty well established, verifiable history. One man among the thousands of "new prophets" of the 19th century somehow managed to get the political footfold so his little cult survived to this day. All the while being a mediocrity in everything but religion and making a general nuisance of himself.
