Can somebody explain to me why did Mussolini try to escape with his mistress and not his family? And why did fascism lose?

For the puss.

Because it was a shitty idea to begin with.

>And why did fascism lose?

Fascism was on the losing side. And if you ask Mosley, the war largely achieved many of Fascism's domestic goals, including creating a new generation of interventionist governments

What if Fascism still prevail to this day?

Like in the movies. The good guys win; its hard for morale when you fight for the bad guys

>And why did fascism lose?
Because the entire concept of Fascism is utilizes international conquest, jingoism, and war as a kickstarter to get the nation motivated into productivity and they are going to have to put up or shut up lest they want an economic bubble caused by spending so many resources on their war machine and not using it. Eventually, they are either going to deplete their resources (which war consumes an abhorrent amount of) or butt heads with a foe much stronger than themselves and lose (IE operation barbarossa)

>Because the entire concept of Fascism is utilizes international conquest, jingoism, and war as a kickstarter to get the nation motivated into productivity

But that's not true, see: British and Spanish Fascism

>we lost so bad, nobody has ever lost anything as hard as we lost that war
>but we actually won guys :D

Fascism lost, and it lost because its shit.

>And why did fascism lose?

When you declare war on the whole world, losing tends to happen.

The fascist leaders were intoxicated with delusions of grandeur and assured of their own invincibleness. They were blinded by the false rhetoric about the exceptional powers and destiny of their people and visions of global conquest.

In short, fascism was never a realistic of tenable political ideology and collapsed under its own disagreements with reality.

>In order to face up to our own problems and the problems of the British world communion, we need peace and discipline, not foreign war.

>It is said that Fascism means War. How do you answer this charge?
Fascism alone can preserve the Peace, because alone it removes the causes of war. The main cause of War is the struggle for markets. Each nation produces more than it can sell at home and so tries to sell its surplus abroad, in cut-throat competition with other nations. Diplomacy, finance, armaments and ultimately War are used as weapons in the struggle for markets. By building a self-contained or autarchic system we withdraw from the struggle for markets and so withdraw from the risks of war.

>Our motto is "Britons fight for Britons only." Never again shall conscript armies leave these shores in foreign quarrel. We fight only in defence of the British Empire.

>Do you approve of disarmament?
Fascism does not approve of Britain being the one unarmed country in an armed world. We should, therefore, in the shortest possible time ... We are willing to disarm if other nations do the same, and our relative security is not impaired.

>gets kicked of socialist party for being a bitch
>Started getting funding for foreigners and industrialists
>put his ideas aside if favor of ultimate power, and creates an ideology to justify his tyranic rule
