Nah, globalism is how you'll turn society into the business caste(who fund shit), the technical caste(who keep shit running) and the dancing monkey caste(who keep the former entertained).
Space exploration/colonisation = big no because sudden supply of resources will reduce their price too much, sudden migration of people outside of earth will be bad because housing crisis will go away etc. etc. etc.
