I think of it more as an extension of Islam (Islam accepts abrahamic prophets and Jesus, while Bahai tries to extend this acceptance of prophets from other religions to all world religions).

It's just Judaism Christianity and Islam combined into one mega religion for people to adopt to stop the fighting. It wont happen.
