Historically how were the interactions between Hindus/Buddhists/other eastern religions and Islam?
>>
Islam was constantly trying to get into India, and usually losing.

The Moguls conquered India, but all it amounted to is a small minority of Muslims in India that get shit on by everyone else.

Most of the countries that went hard Buddhist were physically separated from the Arab world by India and the Himalayas, but Arab traders brought Islam to southeast Asia.

Traditionally, Islam in Southeast Asia has been a milder, more tolerant variant, but Saudi funded madrassas have started to change that over the last generation.

In afghanistan they rushed through and safe for a few phases of relative tolerance razed any reminder of hindus, bhuddists and native zuulworshippers along other pagans that lived there to the ground.

Kaffiristan survived but got sacked and culturally cleansed in the 19th century, their only heirs were kalashas who fled into pakistan but got purged hard and physically reduced into nothingness or converted in the 20th.
Bhuddism got completely eradicated a long time ago the last hindus are slowly getting killed off or driven out by Talibans picking their villages off.

It is a fundamental part of Tibetan bhuddism to believe that Allah is an evil demon-god who will fight an epic battle with his meccan legions against the defendors of bhuddism in order to struggle for the faith of the earth.

I dont think they like each other very much.

Kalachakra sutra is what you're talking about. It was written by the Buddhists of the time during the Islamic war against Buddhist/Hindu countries of Afghan/Pakistan/India/etc. So it's a historical narrative rather than a belief.

If you read Buddhist stories of that time it's often holy Buddhist monks who btfo animal sacrificing Hindus.

A mix of Invasions in the case of South Asia most of the time, although Akbar I and many other Mughals were remarkably religiously tolerant because of how shit the conflicts were. To the point of creating an original pseudo-universalist religion. Still started out pretty nastily.

In Southeast Asia Islam was spread primarily through trade and daw'ah. The Wali Songa being famous figures of the spread of Islam there. Being pretty ideologically pluralistic.

In general religious syncretism was more commonplace than in the Middle east. It can be argued that Eastern Sufism was syncretic in nature even though it was at it's base level, deeply, deeply rooted in strict adherence to Islamic spiritual tradition. Even in it's more syncretic forms in those regions it could give way to violence when it needed to or if a school of alims wanted to motivate people to kill neighboring groups.
Which, Buddhism and Hinduism were very guilty of themselves with each other before Islam.

Except when they do. And did. And judging on just how great the appeal apparently is, it seems as though they will.

>"Muslims are literally satan :("
>"Christians are superstitious close minded retards"
>"Buddhists are peaceful self denying angels made solely for the purpose of being sucked off by modernist faggots like me."
