How did Russia manage to reach the Pacific ocean by the 17th century? What would Siberia have been like? Who were the original inhabitants?
I can answer one of you questions. The original inhabitants of the Siberia region were Uralic, Altaic, Yeniseian, and then a few very small groups. They were for the most part very nomadic (Imagine like Mongolia but on larger scale with more cultures).
