The Nazis wanted to exterminate the slavs. They could have submitted completely, but it wouldn't matter. The Nazis were out to exterminate, not assimilate. The slavs could have been a puppet state of Germany and they would've had to fight Germans the same way for survival.

Hitler did not want to exterminate the Slavs. They didn't like Slavs, sure, but they didn't want to exterminate them. And reminder, the only reason Hitler didn't take Britain was because British spies in the SS were providing falsified artillery coordinates so that instead of the shells hitting London they would hit empty fields and forests.

Wrong, the actual reason was because the English Channel. Hitler thought he could weaken the UK enough to do an amphibious assault, but even if he managed to destroy the all of the UK with accurate bombings, the germans would have failed and bankrupted themselves trying.
Instead he bankrupted himself trying to eliminate the eastern half of Europe.
