When you're born your brain is a mush of neural networks in a tiny skull. Without sensory input the structures won't develop and there won't be any intelligence, so how is it possible to have innate knowledge?
A baby pretty much does nothing until observing another figure perform an action to replicate.
For starters, every other observable human trait seems to have at least some heritability. Why should the mind be different?
Second, studies on identical twins raised separately show that they end up pretty different from one another.
