Officially Sweden was neutral, but most individual Swede's either supported the Allies, the Axis, or the Comintern. Sweden had a number of Nazi parties, most of them fragmented, and almost all of them suffered from infighting.

There's enough people out there who believe that the Nazis wanted to conquer all Germanic countries/Murrica/the whole world, so I guess annexing Sweden sounds pretty reasonable in comparison.

Interesting pictures. Here's 2nd Lt. Gösta Hallberg-Cuula, a member of the NSAP who lost an eye fighting for the Finnish Army in the Winter War, and was killed by a mine in East Karelia in the Continuation War.
