How would North America look like today? Would it be a smaller, safer, more peaceful country (eg Canada, Australia) ?
>>
Canada's bigger than the US, bud.
>>
>>1293250
No.
Move back to Britain, filthy loyalist scum.

speaking population wise

Worse

it would probably just be a bigger Australia filled with Not-British People who have the Union Jack on their flag while claiming to be an independent country like the rest of the Commonwealthcucks.
>>
>>1293263
I doubt it. Canada and Aus are small because large tracts of the country are inhospitable or close to it.

Right off the top of my head the political system would be different
>Parliament with a House of Commons
>no Electoral College bullshit
>no President - Governor General/Queen in effect
>non-fixed election date with timeframe in which the next one will happen

I wonder how it would affect the development of the British Empire
>>
>>1293263
Oh sorry, pretty sure a lot of people would still migrate to the US area. Plenty of living space and all in a climate that's not too terrible.
>>
>>1293250
Native rights would be way better. Canada is basically on lease from the native tribes. There'd probably be millions of the little shits in Midwest and Rockies. Unless Texas and Mexico rekt their shit.
>>
>>1293575
This. The west coast would be very different and the areas in-between would most likely be a separate Native state. The culture of the states would very, very different.

After that everything is up to speculation. Maybe there would be more wars with the natives or they would go to war with each other. Mexico might still own California and Texas.
Las Vegas might not exist.
I don't know how well Black/White relations would be because slavery still happened and that's somehow more important than the fact that it was ended by choice rather than revolution.
>>
>>1293593
Slavery ended in Britain before it did in USA.

Britain would not have fought with Spain over their colonies, maybe with Mexico, and possibly the same with the southern French territories.

Would there have been a massive influx of Germans?
>>
France would own Louisiana to this day.

Beautiful prospects!
>>
One interesting side-effect would be that the Spanish Mediterranean island of Minorca might still be in British possession like Gibraltar.

Read "For Want of a Nail" by Robert Sobel. Great alt history book on this subject that's written in-universe with footnotes and citations.

Yeah, you wish anglo.
Gibraltar is coming back to Spain this year or just the next one.

>Britain extends political rights to the lower classes to prevent future rebellion
>slavery ends in 1830s
>no civil war
>America integrated with the british industrial revolution, scientists and inventors study in the same universities, businesses are more cooperative
>no stifling inefficient protectionism where industrialists are forced to start up in difficult locations just so they pay taxes to the state that owns the land
>instead American (born) industrialists and professionals go to flourishing industrial centers in Britain, start businesses which grow rapidly and are then used to springboard industialization back in America
>native american tribes become principalities like those in India and share in the empire's prosperity
>faster economic and technological development, the world of 1900 looks more like our world in 1920
>Germanics know they can't compete and don't cause trouble, no world wars, no revolution in russia
>no cold war, no endless civil wars in the undeveloped world which are soon granted independence without bloodshed
>first man on the moon in 1940
>world economy mostly developed by 1960, the poorest nations look like Turkey or Russia
>cure for cancer by 1990

I wish that game were better. I loved the bantz and bullshit.

but
>A sniper rifle that doesn't impede your movement in any way
>An uzi secondary that's silenced and has more dps and less spread than the assault rifles
>A pistol that has literally no spread, the second highest base damage(over a bullshit gun that never hits) and is also silenced
>for a low low price!
>Also what's a moderator? Is that Italian for something?

The continent would probably be more european looking (many smaller nations) from the natives forming boundaries and proper nation states. The Iroquois were already on the path to proper nationhood before getting caught in the middle of the revolutionary war.
And considering the relations the british kept with many tribes they probably would have made great allies with them.

History from the 17th century onwards is the history of Britain trying to make the world a better place and other countries getting in the way.
