Are arvanites greeks or albanian?
Let's settle this once and for all, they speak a heavy-version of albanian, some even claim that it's the purest form of albanian.
But some say that arvanites had mixed way before the revolution of 1821.
So who's right and who's wrong, are there any other arguments to be made?

Whoever invaded greece is the least recorded of any of the bronze age collapse wars. I imagine illyrian tribes being far more likely being right on the border and no archeological evidence of a mass immigration from so far north, but yes its possible they aligned with them, or let them pass peacefully, or had little conflict if they were made aware greece was where the wealth was at

No it wasn't. Macedon and Epirus were completely Greek, and insulated it from Illyrians and Thracians.
Dorian invasion was comprised of Doric-Greek speakers from the Epirus/Macedon region.

There is absolutely no information about Albanians before the 9th century, so it's impossible to associate them with a specific Bronze Age/Antiquity/Late-Antiquity group.
That said, they are closely related to Greeks and their language has very old Doric influence. So Albanians and Arvanites as a whole are probably a very closely related, if only because of time and proximity, to Greeks.
Arvanites decided to reject the label Albanian and instead identify as Greek. Given the fact that modern Albania has historically been occupied by Greeks and the limited information we have on early Greek/Albanian relations, Arvanites could well be considered Albanized Greeks.
