Started reading the first one, Storm bird, and it was shit. He makes the duke of York litterally a Nazi to tell the reader that he's the bad guy. He is also still apparently the bad guy for ignoring the calls for help from the English settlers in Normandy, even though he wants to and had been specifically ordered not to by the king. The English insurgents have saexs. They fight Frenchman with armoured codpieces. There is a lengthy discussion about dead French soldiers still having erections that served no purpose other than padding the word count.
I stopped reading shortly after that. May have got better but I doubt it.

Depends on how you define the Wars of the Roses. You could say they ended in 1471 with the decisive Yorkist victory at Tewkesbury.
Tudors claim as a Lancastrian heir was ridiculously distant and tenuous and so many of his supporters were members of Edwards court who refused to be ruled by Richard, Bosworth was much more of a Yorkist power struggle than a continuation of the WotR.
