It's very inaccurate because there are no moving pictures
>Argentina in critical financial crisis with widespread unemployment
>Unpopular fascist junta tries to distract country by starting pointless, unjustified war
>Argentina rightfully gets its ass kicked
>Still whines about it 34 years later

Los putos ingleses trajeron su imperio de mierda a america latina. Los Argentinas hicieron qué todos paises harían. Thatcher es una maricona tambien. Los Malvinas Son Argentinas

Their economy is still probably shit so if they stop theyd have to actually do something productive.

>Britain in critical financial crisis with widespread unemployment
>Unpopular democratically elected monetarist government tries to distract country by extensively rallying patriotism behind a justified defensive action
>Wins a vaguely impressive victory
>Still goes "WE WON THE FALKLANDS DON'T YOU KNOW" 34 years later as though it matters.

Before the war, Thatcher was remarkably unpopular, at one point even polling behind the SDP.

>unpopular
>democratically elected

didn't she get reelected?
>Michael Cockerell, who covered the Beaconsfield* campaign for the BBC, revealed to Hastings that Blair subsequently told Robin Cook: "The thing I learned from Beaconsfield is that wars make prime ministers popular."
* Constituency by-election during the Falklands War. The only constituency election Blair ever lost, though it was a safe Tory seat.
>Wars make prime ministers popular
How's that going for you Tony?

It might be better to say "quick, decisive victories make for good feelings." Otherwise war is unpopular.

The Super Etendard is the Argentine plane featured in the cartoon. They were pretty successful in combination with the French Exocet missile attacking the British fleet. Sea Harriers scored the only air-air kills of the war though. The Super Etendard wouldn't have gotten in range to dogfight as the Exocet was fired at stand off range.

it's an accurate description of the level of delusion Argentina operates on, they refuse to admit that they literally never even went to the Falklands in their entire history
>>1248786
>in their entire history
If this was the case, what the fuck were the Brits fighting? Sheep and Penguins with fighters from Frogs?
