Why is there so much human suffering?
Is there a God?
If nothing lasts, why am I bothering to make films, or do anything for that matter?

>Why is there so much human suffering?
Same reason traffic sucks - mostly other humans, occasionally weather.
>Is there a God?
Probably not. If there is, he either isn't omniscient, omnipotent, or benign, and if it's the last, he's something more to be fought than worshipped, and you're going to lose.
>If nothing lasts, why am I bothering to make films, or do anything for that matter?
Assuming there is no god, forever is a fantasy. Everything lasts, some things last a lot longer than you think, it's only that nothing lasts forever. Don't hold the world up against am unobtainable fantasy - you'll just end up depressing the hell out of yourself.

There is no God, suffering exist because universe is dangerous and function of suffering is to help in avoiding the dangers, but danger is unavoidable in conceptual sense so suffering is inevitable.

>Why is there so much human suffering?
We suffer because the progression of the universe is more often than not at odds with our desires.
>Is there a God?
Probably not as traditionally described.
>If nothing lasts, why bother?
You have to answer this yourself.
