What's the history between the idiotic New World Order conspiracy theories?
Also, why is the image of the removal of national borders associated with some kind of anti-Christian Satanic conspiracy in the minds of many? The Bible clearly says that Jesus wasn't OK with national borders, and that national borders would be striken down upon his second coming.
If anything, rampant nationalism, and the wars and potential for self-destruction and nuclear Armageddon it brings are more aligned with the Biblical notion of Satan - a manifestation of the bad and evil part of the human nature.

I am not an expert in any sense of the word, but IIRC, it comes from somewhere in Revelation, where the anti-christ is supposed to lead the bulk of the world in a struggle against Jesus and the faithful Christians.
Thus, I believe, it goes that if someone is trying to unite the world political powers, and Jesus certainly hasn't arrived yet, it must therefore be the work of the anti-christ.

There are four important ingredients in any conspiracy cocktail. Jews, communists, farmers, and agrarian protestants, in that order. As you might expect, Americans and Germans make the most contributions to this illustrious field. The known hoax Protocols of the Elders of Zion is the archetype for this sympathy, but it has existed in the modern form since the protestant reformation at least.

But nations - the "Kingdoms" - would still exist under the anti-Christ. In fact, the anti-Christ would rule the most powerful Kingdom and declare war on the lands of Biblical Israel. It's upon the arrival of Jesus that nations fall down, according to the Bible (more precisely, it says that his "words" make nation fall down upon his arrival).
Why are nationalists so religious if their religion goes against nationalism? I'm not even religious myself, but the hypocrisy is staggering.
