Social Security might have had good intentions. It just created another way for politicians to bribe voters. Plus all the rampant abuse of Social Security. There is a practical industry now of doctors and lawyers. All they do is put abled bodied people on SS disability. So they can bill SS for their services. The government also borrows from SS. So the fund is full of debt instead of cash.
