desu the Blitzkrieg was a giant myth. The majority of the german army was made of horses, they simply didn't have the capability to rush through enemy lines.
The only exception was the Panzer divisions, who were fielded at 100% with vehicles... But invading France is cool, especially when you cut through the Ardennes and their best troops are in the east. It's much harder when you have to invade a backward country without any roads or train tracks like the USSR.

To go even further into the military realm, the Soviet T-34 and KV-1 tanks were actually superior to all German tanks at the outset of Barbarossa, with the Panzer IV's unable to effectively counter the T-34, leading to the development of the Tiger I and Panther as counters in 1943. a good video illustrating that is here:

The Soviets weren't as woefully behind the rest of the world as propaganda makes you think. What the Soviets lacked in organizational logistics was made up in superior military designing and an inexhaustible amount of resources to keep fueling a major war.

Germany produced 4-5 times as much steel, pig iron, and aluminium as the Soviet Union, and about 8 times as much in machine tools. If you want to put it in 4x terms, Germany was still putting hammers into buildings while the Soviets were full on military production.
