If I'm also wielding a zwei, I go for the cross-guard and try to deflect (don't have to STOP it, just tip it enough to get more flat than blade). Lol at that armor. He's listed as 7'1" tall. Let's do the math. Assuming he's a monstrous 400lbs like his actor, he has a minimum surface area to cover of 3.5 meters square. That's before any overlap to make that armor actually protect him.
Now that shoulderpad is easily 3/4" thick, but let's aim at the low end of the hip guard that looks to be 1/2" thick. Steel has a density of 8,050 kg/m3. 3.5x0.0125x8050= 350 kgs, before padding, before his shield and sword. And as you saw, he has even thicker armor on many parts of his body, and it must overlap. That's approaching half of a ton.
Know how I defeat that? I turn 360 degrees and moonwalk away, because holy fucking shit that's hillariously unwieldly.

2kg for a sword isn't "light" it's fairly heavy. Most rapiers goes max at 1,5kg, longswords don't get this heavier too. 2kg is only spadone or montante level.
