Based on a historical context, why did leftists become such pussies?

What are some things that you do to learn faster?
I explain things real simply in my head so I can build up to an understanding rather than getting bogged down in things i can't understand. I also watch youtube videos at 1.5 speed and play powerful background music if it's too boring, so i can get hyped to learn it.
You're too fast mate, just relax.
Get some green tea, a smoke and just absorb it all, let it sink in. Take time man, you have a whole lifetime ahead of yourself
>>501802
Youtube?
Just buy da textbook, make flashcards, and find a kid with adhd meds on campus like the rest of us.
Also try timing all of your study sessions and never play music.
No worries Anon.
>>503113
Na its fun and it works,
your mind is limitless, you can learn anything so i'm learning how to learn really fast
If i've got my whole life ahead of me imagine what I could do if I could learn complex ideas in months instead of years.
It's creative learning, rather than analytical
Did the CSA really have any hope in hell of beating the Union in the civil war?
>>501740
No.
It wasn't quite as bad as a rabbit pissing off a bear, but it was close to it.
>>501740
Thy had pretty good generals so I would assume yeah
>>501740
>>501750
It rides on more than general-ship and Lee is vastly over-rated.
You people of the South don't know what you are doing. This country will be drenched in blood, and God only knows how it will end. It is all folly, madness, a crime against civilization! You people speak so lightly of war; you don't know what you're talking about. War is a terrible thing! You mistake, too, the people of the North. They are a peaceable people but an earnest...

I'm reading Spengler. What does it mean when he says " The Anglo is a Viking mentally, but the German is a Crusading knight"?
Spengler was a reductionist retard who thought he can explain all of history by a handful of memes.
>>501700
History literally is memes.
>>501694
The anglo is a sea faring cunt, so he just colonizes and pillages whatever he can. The person of Heartland is fatalistic, just like the story of Ragnarock, where all the norse gods died. He would destroy his enemy to the final piece if he could, but he can't.

What does his think about this guy?
Idiot who thought killing everyone was a rational solution to America's problems at the time.
>>501651
American hero who kept the world safe, and prevented nuclear mishaps through his supreme autism about rules in SAC.
After perusing the wiki, he seems like a guy who thinks offense is best defense, even though the offense would've likely caused the destruction of Western civilization.
Computer science or history with political science in college, /his/?
Which meme should I fall for, bearing in mind I have a great interest in all of the subjects listed. I'm in ireland btw so my universities aren't too fucked to by lefties yet.
How many of you have had success with jobs post Humanities?
>>501600
>How many of you have had success with jobs post Humanities?
Just do STEM long enough to retire as a NEET and live on your savings and royalties from your patents so you can devote the rest of your life to studying humanities and talking about it on 4chan.
>>501894
I like your style mate
I'd major in CS and minor in history with some poli on the side
the computer meme will get you a job, the history meme gives you the facts, and the poli is just kind of entertaining but not often practical or useful
What if the states of Mesopotamia were still around today?
>>501576
>What if the states of Mesopotamia were still around today?
The absence of social, linguistic, cultural or political change would be concrete evidence of supranatural intervention.
>>501576
Then there would be states in Mesopotamia today.
What if I was your dad and you didn't have such shitty genes?
Did priestly celibacy have a a social evolutionary effect?
That is, by taking out of the gene pool more timid and peaceful characteristics in the population, ancient and medieval west European society increased their ferocity and militarism?
>>501560
>priests are inherently peaceful
>only western priests and monks were celibate
So no. But I have wondered what the true reasons behind celibacy are. I assume it has something to due with a lack of worldly desires bringing you closer to your religious goals. But I'm not exactly an expect on the subject.
There weren't enough priests for that to have any impact.
>tfw you fell for the humanities meme
sup guys, BA in philosophy here, currently a NEET, ask me anything
LMAO'ing at your life right now

it's actually pretty cool being a NEET, I get NEETbux every month that I spend on booze and cigarettes, plus the government can't do shit about my loans now
i have a BA in history and i want to work in a gas station
Why didn't the US just nuke Korea?
>>501451
Because the Japanese state was centred on the home islands through the Great Yamato Cult of racism, so nuking Japanese Korea wouldn't have had any effect on the Emperor Cult government?

Do you think that God was invented as a way of explaining the subconscious and the subconscious actions of everyone around them?
Literally God is in your head.
If ideology really is a subconscious fantasy that structures reality, (which you can see evidence for), does that mean that the ideology of god has became a real force in the world but only if you believe in it?
Do you think that because christians worship god as a person, we have ended up worshiping celebrity's?
if you truly believe that you are your own god, will reality subjugate to...

>if you truly believe that you are your own god, will reality subjugate to fit in with your ideological fantasy?
Yes, this is true with any narrative you want to believe. If I chose to explain the world by believing a monkey dropped a "good day pill" or a "bad day pill" in my mouth every day before I woke my reality will shift to appropriate this world view if I want to believe it enough.
>>501425
no
here is the bombshell: reflexivity permits us to see that the belief in rationality, induction/generalization/categorization, imagination, intellect, reason does not lead us to the good life.
animals are the most rational beings, but they lack reflexivity since they fail to see that the faith in abstraction to reach knowledge/truth/objectivity/reality/universality is sterile since it brings only conventions which are, by definition, always fluctuating through, at least, time and space... rationality...
