Why is the Median empire not considered the first Persian empire?
Because the Medes are ethnically and culturally distinct from the Persians despite controlling roughly the same territory. That's like asking why the Seleucid Empire isn't considered the second Persian Empire, or why the Ottoman Empire isn't considered the Third Rome.
Again, saying they were both Iranic means very little in the Ancient world; that's like calling Thracians and Hittites the same because they were both Anatolian. The Medes were ethnically distinct from the Parsua, spoke a different language, had a different religion, and predominantly lived in a different section of Iran. That really makes them a different people.
What happened in India before the Aryan invasion? Did the Indians look different back then, or was the Aryans a very small minority that did not influence much?
the Aryans were the conquering nordic races that subjugated the more beast-like races of the Indian peninsula. They did not exterminate all the scum, but instead installed a caste system. Even today the Hindu brahmins are much whiter, almost European looking, when in contrast to those castes that collect shit, trash and feces etc.
>the Aryans were the conquering nordic races that subjugated the more beast-like races of the Indian peninsula.
This board has gone to the shitters..
I know that jews, gypsies, ukranians, basically ANYONE who are considered different were persecuted and taken to concentration camps. But how were BLACKS treated by the Nazi regime? Were they treated equally like the whites or where they too persecuted? Cause i heard some were treated fairly and there are even accounts of blacks in the Wehrmacht.

Having a waifu is close to what school of philosophy? I suspect waifunism might be close to edonism because it's a escape from reality.
After looking at a lot of Orthodox iconography, both Eastern and Western (and Coptic and Ethiopian), I was wondering if there is any guide to the various styles of Medieval art. There's really quite a bit of diversity.
Also, Medieval art general.
This is Romaneque style (currently being revived in some Western Orthodox parishes)
Don't know what this style is called, but I've seen some Romanian icons using it
I've finally realized how amazing Napoleon was.
When did you realize he really was the most exceptional man that ever lived?
If we managed to clone neanderthals and effectively resurrect their species, do you think they would deserve rights? Would/should they be allowed to integrate with modern humans? Could you ever consider a neanderthal your equal?
All modern humans are descended from African Homo Sapiens, while Homo Neanderthalis evolved independently in Eurasia.
Under the One Drop Principle, Neanderthals were the only real white people in existence.
>Throughout the years it has become a duty of each Flat Earth Society member, to meet the common round earther in the open, avowed, and unyielding rebellion; to declare that his reign of error and confusion is over; and that henceforth, like a falling dynasty, he must shrink and disappear, leaving the throne and the kingdom of science and philosophy to those awakening intellects whose numbers are constantly increasing, and whose march is rapid and irresistible. The soldiers of truth and reason of the Flat Earth Society have drawn the sword, and ere another...

How did the "Ottomans were tolerant" meme start?
Furthermore, why is Vlad given a shitty reputation for impaling Turks when the Turks infamously impaled women and babies during the sacking of Constantinople ?
Just like there were American/British/Roman/Greek/Chinese warmongers and American/British/Roman/Greek/Chinese peacemakers, there were also Ottoman warmongers and Ottoman peacemakers.
Whoa, ruling class behaves differently when given 400 years to evolve. Shocking!
What children's history books piqued your interest as a child?
For me it was this Titanic book, which was impossible to get from the school library more than once a year because the reserve list was ongoing.
Were Romans the first historical society to experience collective mental illness?
