I am very intrested in this master and in economic models of the past.
What happened to the Euro in 28 June 2015?
I found A Concise Economic History of the World left behind by someone. I still have to read it, though skimmed through it. Seems quite nice. Can't tell you anything about masters though.

Cowardliness grants you immortality.

It means cowards don't act bravely and this diminishes them among their peers.

Anglos? The reason the United States relied on such policies is, because they were an internal threat that foreign powers could potentially exploit.
Take for instance the role of the Iroquois during The Revolutionary War. Sullivan's Expedition ended this threat in response to the Wyoming Massacre.
The Spanish allowed Seminole raiding from their possession of Florida until it was confiscated. The English were attempting the unify the nations in the Ohio Valley to prevent USA expansion west and maintain...

Did he just spam pikes or was he actually a brilliant general or tactician? Can anyone who knows a good deal about this explain?
>>1074977
Okay so I do know a good deal about this but I can't give you a concrete answer.
To be honest, I suppose he did just "spam pikes" and used the same formation for nearly every battle, but the thing was that nobody in the ancient world had an answer to this.
The Macedonian phalanx was just that good.
As a general and tactican, yes he was brilliant, but he doesn't get enough credit for his logistics (well up until Gedrosia anyway) imo. Think of how difficult it would be to manoeuvre a...

As far as I'm aware pike formations couldn't exactly move very quickly, couldn't the Persians just have stayed back and rained arrows on them? Sorry if thats a dumb question.
>>1075204
Not that guy, but one thing about pike formations is that arrows aren't as effective as you'd think. You know those rows of protruding pikes pointing up at increasing angles behind the first row? They serve to deflect incoming arrows.
Is there a distinct lack of non official documents in East Asia or have we just not translated them into english yet?
When looking back at Roman stuff you find letters, personal concordances and other stuff of that sort. When I read about Chinese history there's a distinct lack of that despite several of these histories saying that the Chinese were printing tens of thousands of books per year at around the Tang dynasty.
Probably most destroyed by the occasional dynastic purge or communism.
More people died in East Asia during the time between 0 AD and 1600. That might have something to do with it. Plus there's no one language in China.
>>1074969
Most printed matter in China was reserved for official records, histories, and novels & literary works.
Normie plebs don't go printing their shit due to how fucking expensive printing is in East Asia.
That said: yes there are. Most are untranslated, because E. Asian cunts don't really think foreigners would be interested in mundane shit.
A good example of non-official Chinese records are Zupu (Clan Registers.) Basically some close knit clans in China has a great fat book in a village...

There are geniuses who died too soon. But can you name people who lived too long and it would be better if they are just died instead of living like forever?
Even Chinese kids get taught in school that Mao should have died sooner and things would be better.
